Simmons watches just as many NBA games as anyone other than Kelly Dwyer, he has spoken about his league pass and DVRing a bunch in the past. Dan Levy is a tool.

There’s more bullshit in this podcast than any podcast in the history of podcasts. Dan Levy sucks. I lost a little respect for Filowitz for agreeing with some of the nonsense as well.

Outrageous.
How about embrace the fact that there is a great new basketball book out there. Mixed feelings about it, Filowitz? Really? Simmons doesn’t come of like “I know everything about basketball, and you don’t”, at all. It’s an amazing, hilarious book that any basketball fan will love. To question SportsGuys’ knowledge of basketball is utterly ridiculous. Oh he writes a NFL picks column every week so he can’t possibly know what’s going on with basketball. Pfft, pathetic.
One other thing Ken brought up, that he doesn’t write enough about current basketball. Well maybe it’s because he’s been writing this gigantic book about hoops for the last 3 years.
Listen, I love the show, but this Podcast sucked.

Levy is a jealous prick. Simmons won’t go on your show, Dan? That’s because you’re a nobody, and a moron.
It’s not like Bill Simmons is going out of his way saying basketball is more popular than baseball. He said something along those lines on Colbert (talking about basketball being more popular with young people), but didn’t mention baseball at all on Jimmy Kimmel.
Anyway, whatever. Just please don’t have him back, fellas. If I ever hear him speak again it will be too soon.

When a beef arises from a half-serious comment made by a sportswriter on a fake news show, I think there is something personal. Why does it even matter which sport has better TV ratings? My eyes tell me this is the best crop of players the NBA has ever seen, and we are in a new golden age. Let’s enjoy it.
