It’s not like Bill Simmons is going out of his way saying basketball is more popular than baseball. He said something along those lines on Colbert (talking about basketball being more popular with young people), but didn’t mention baseball at all on Jimmy Kimmel.

Anyway, whatever. Just please don’t have him back, fellas. If I ever hear him speak again it will be too soon.

How about embrace the fact that there is a great new basketball book out there. Mixed feelings about it, Filowitz? Really? Simmons doesn’t come of like “I know everything about basketball, and you don’t”, at all. It’s an amazing, hilarious book that any basketball fan will love. To question SportsGuys’ knowledge of basketball is utterly ridiculous. Oh he writes a NFL picks column every week so he can’t possibly know what’s going on with basketball. Pfft, pathetic.

One other thing Ken brought up, that he doesn’t write enough about current basketball. Well maybe it’s because he’s been writing this gigantic book about hoops for the last 3 years.

Listen, I love the show, but this Podcast sucked.
